Drop 2-4 is a concept whereby your diminished 7th Chord is broken down into a small fraction. Your left hand plays the 3rd note of the chord while your right hand plays the remaining notes. It's important you practice Drop 2-4 round the piano to gain mastery and possible flexibility to aid your comping and playing.
