    Left hand fingering

Please sir, I'm teaching my son to play and for all my life I always used inverted fingering for the left hand i.e. left pinkie is 5 while the thumb is 1, i noticed yours is different. I'd like to know if i should be worried.

If you can’t use your thumb to start playing the black keys, why do you use them to play chords that have black keys?

    Ab Right Hand

    I´ve been thinking. Is it correct that the right hand in Ab plays 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3. If the Startpoint has to be the end point then the left hand shouldn`t it be 2 3 1 2 3 4 1 2 or 3 4 1 2 3 1 2 3. Thank you :)
